Dedicated Capacity. Purposeful Presence. Long-Term Value.

Shaw Enterprises reserves time, attention, and expertise to develop the relationships behind your growth initiative.

Your investment supports the work before, during, and after the meeting: identifying the right people, preparing to represent your business, establishing genuine connection, and maintaining the follow-through that turns interest into opportunity.

The objective is to build trusted relationships that create qualified pipelines, advance projects, and support revenue generation for years.

The Value of Allocated Time

Effective relationship development requires room to prepare, engage, assess, and act. Each engagement allocates capacity across three connected areas:

In-Person Engagement

Strategy and Follow-Through

Strategy and Follow-Through

Dedicated local and travel days put Shaw in the room with priority decision-makers, referral sources, and strategic partners. Meetings are selected for relevance and prepared for with a clear purpose.

Strategy and Follow-Through

Strategy and Follow-Through

Dedicated planning days support curating and maintaining three separate target lists (the main target market and two indirect referral sources), along with research, relationship assessment, meeting preparation, executive coordination, documentation, and next steps. This work gives each conversation direction and keeps promising opportunities moving.

Continuity of Attention

Strategy and Follow-Through

Continuity of Attention

Relationships do not operate on a fixed calendar. Timely communication, thoughtful consideration, and commercial judgment continue between scheduled activities.

The retainer reserves capacity, not simply hours. Allocated days make the commitment tangible without limiting the attention required to represent your business well.

Three Levels of Engagement

The process and standard of care remain consistent across all tiers, including three separately curated target lists. The difference is the capacity allocated to carrying out your initiative.

Local engagement includes locations within a three-hour drive of Kansas City. Travel and event participation are coordinated around the initiative and a client-approved activation budget. The proposal defines scheduling and how event participation relates to the dedicated day allocations.

Included in Every Engagement

Business Immersion

Leadership and Team Alignment

Leadership and Team Alignment

A 30-day immersion process includes leadership shadowing and observation of relevant meetings, conversations, and presentations. The purpose is to understand your business well enough to represent it credibly. During this period and throughout the strategy and follow-through days, we curate three separate target lists: the main target market and two indirect referral sources.

Leadership and Team Alignment

Weekly leadership touchpoints and participation in weekly team business-development meetings keep priorities, relationship activity, and opportunity pursuit connected.

Three separately curated target lists (the main target market and two indirect referral sources), purposeful engagement, relationship qualification, and prepared executive introductions.

Accountability

Accountability

Relationship Development

Monthly reporting and regular milestone reviews provide visibility into relationship progression, qualified opportunities, secured projects, attributable revenue, and activation spending.

Exclusivity

Accountability

Exclusivity

Industry and specialty exclusivity are defined in the agreement. Availability is reviewed against existing commitments and reserved capacity before an engagement is accepted.

Accountability

Exclusivity

Responsive Communication. Reliable Follow-Through.

We initiate follow-through promptly and respond to incoming communication within 12 business hours, typically within four business hours or sooner. Meetings and travel may affect immediate availability.

This commitment extends to your team and the relationships developed on your behalf. Acknowledgment, useful information, and clear next steps help people feel heard and keep conversations moving.

When a request requires additional work, we communicate the next step and expected timing. Consistent responsiveness builds confidence in both Shaw and the company we represent.

Purposeful Travel and Market Engagement

Travel is an investment in access, presence, and relationship depth.

Where practical, we coordinate multiple relevant meetings within one market to make effective use of time and budget. Each meeting remains dedicated to the client and relationship involved, with its own preparation, purpose, and follow-through.

Conferences and events are selected for access to priority people and networks, with preparation before attendance and continued engagement afterward.

Investment Structure

Engagements begin at $3,750 per month plus performance compensation, with a 12-month term.

Three compensation structures are available:

Retainer Plus Performance Compensation

Retainer Plus Performance Compensation

Retainer Plus Performance Compensation

A monthly retainer reserves dedicated capacity, with additional compensation tied to attributable revenue under the engagement agreement.

Retainer Only

Retainer Plus Performance Compensation

Retainer Plus Performance Compensation

A defined monthly investment without revenue commission.

Fully Exclusive Engagement

Retainer Plus Performance Compensation

Fully Exclusive Engagement

Shaw serves no other clients during the agreed term. Scope, dedicated capacity, and compensation are established in the proposal.

Your proposal presents the recommended tier, exact retainer, and applicable compensation terms before work begins.

Relationship Activation Budget

A separate, client-approved budget supports expenses associated with engaging priority relationships, including:

  • Conference, trade show, and event registrations.
  • Travel, lodging, and transportation.
  • Hosted meetings and relationship-building experiences.
  • Other agreed activation expenses.

The budget is aligned with the initiative, managed through an agreed approval process, and included in monthly reporting.

Align the Investment With the Opportunity

The strategic conversation establishes the objective, geographic reach, relationship priorities, and leadership involvement required.

We then recommend the engagement tier and document the scope, capacity, exclusivity, compensation, and activation budget in a written proposal.

The commitment is to credible representation, purposeful engagement, and disciplined opportunity development. Project awards and revenue depend on opportunity fit, partner decisions, market conditions, and the client’s ability to execute.
